About the Department
In the academic year 2002-2003 the Department of Computer Engineering was Inaugurated.
DEPARTRMENT ACTIVITIES………..
Department of computer engineering conducted various events like placement activities and association events for our department studentsto bring them out from stage fear and also to improve their communication skills. During the academic year 2021-2022 (Odd Sem), Events were conducted to pave an opportunity to learn about a core subject and develop effective presentation skills. Students participated in various events to develop their skills.
INAUGURATION OF ASSOCIATION-SEMINAR ON “LATEST OPEN SOURCE TRENDS IN WEB TECHNOLOGY”
Department Association function was conducted on 18thDecember 2021. Mr. KarthickKailash M P, CEO,(CBASCORP INDIA), Coimbatore, was the resource person, and heimparted Knowledge about Latest Open Source Trends in Web Technology and how to design the web pages, etc., to the students.Also Gave some educational tips to become an web designer.
INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO “APPIN TECHNOLOGY” COIMBATORE.
On the 29thDecember 2021 , our students visited Appin Technology, Coimbatore.Mr.Mohan Kumar, Director of Appin Technology,explained the evolution and usage of IOT and explained about the IOT devices that we are using in our day to day life,he also gave the ideas to become an entrepreneur and startup ideas to achieve our goals.
HANDS ON WORKSHOP ON “Android App Developing using MIT App Inventor”
To increase the intelligence in Cloud Computing a Workshop on cloud computing was conducted bythe resource person Mrs.P. Karpagam, HOD of our Department, in the academic year 2021-2022 (Odd Sem). Students got the real time working experience inMobile Apps.
