Eligibility for Admission to First Year
A Pass in SSLC with eligibility for admission to +2 Higher Secondary courses of study in Tamilnadu or any other qualification recognized as equivalent to pass in SSLC (or) X standard of Tamilnadu Higher Schools recognized by the Directorate of School Education /Board of Secondary Education, Tamilnadu.
Eligibility to the Direct Second Year of Diploma Courses in Engineering
A pass in +2, Higher Secondary course (Academic/Vocational) or ITI of study in Tamilnadu or any other qualification as equivalent to pass in HSC or Course of Tamilnadu Higher Secondary Schools recognized by the Directorate of School Education/ Board of Higher Secondary Education, Tamilnadu.
Candidates who have passed the qualifying examinations in March or earlier examinations of the succeeding academic year are eligible for admission.

Admission Procedure
a) Apply in the prescribed form.
b) All entries in the application must be entered by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.
c) Three Photo copies of Community certificate, Mark sheet, Transfer certificate and Five passport size photographs are to be enclosed with the application.

The following Certificates in Original should be produced at the time of Admission/Interview:
1. SSLC or Equivalent mark sheet.
2. HSC Mark sheet or Equivalent (For Direct II Year)
3. Transfer Certificate.
4. Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution.
5. Community Certificate.
6. Aathar Card Xerox.
6. Certificate regarding sports and extra curricular activities.
7. Certificate of permanent residence (Nativity Certificate) from Headquarters Thasildar in Tamilnadu, if required.
Note:
Original certificates and photo copies of TC produced at the time of admission will not be given back under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to take sufficient number of xerox copies to apply for Scholarship etc.,
